About MPSC – Maharashtra Public Service Commission
Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is the administering authority for conducting Maharashtra State Civil Services Examination in the State also conducts many other examinations and carries out selection process of candidates for service into different departments of Maharashtra State Government.

 GENERAL: 33 Years, OBC: 35 Years, SC / ST / NT: 38Years (Number of attempts allowed: No limit)
The Examinations are held for the post of: Deputy Collector Class I, Deputy Registrar (Co-operatives) Assistant Secretary, Deputy Superintendent of Police/Assistant Commissioner of Police, Maharashtra Finance & Accounts Service-Class I & II ,Tehsildar ,Block Development Officer, District Inspector (Land Records),Superintendent of Prohibition and Excise, Asstt. Registrar (Cooperatives), District Transport Officer |
PRELIMS EXAM
| Prelims exam consists of 2 papers: Paper – 1 General Studies (200 marks), degree level & Paper -2, CSAT (200 Marks) for duration of 2 hrs. each. |
MAIN EXAM
| There shall be six compulsory papers. 2 language papers in Marathi & English of 100 marks each with descriptive nature. And four General Studies paper 150 marks each, with multiple-choice questions-objective type with 3:1 negative marking. Passing in each paper is must. 45% for General & 40% for reserved category. |
INTERVIEW
| 100 marks Note 1 : Questions relating to Marathi and English Language Comprehension skill of Class X/XII level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper II) will be tested through passages from Marathi and English language without providing cross translation thereof in the question paper. |
Note 2
The questions will be of multiple choices, objective type. Note 3: It is mandatory for the candidate to appear in both the Papers of State Services (Prelim) Examination for the Purpose of evaluation. Therefore a candidate will be disqualified in case he / she does not appear in both the papers of State Services (Prelim) Examination

ONLY COMMON SYLLABUS WITH UPSC & GENERAL STUDIES WILL BE COMPLETED IN MPSC COURSE. MARATHI PAPER FOR IS NOT AVAILABLE IN OUR INSTITUTE. NO MARATHI MEDIUM
